Iconic Fighter- Muhammad Ali Always Packed a Punch

"Float like a Butterfly and Sting like a Bee", these are the words that my grandfather would often say to me when I dealt with bullies. Coming from a family where there was always someone around to defend me, I often laughed at his instructions.

There would come a day where I would have to defend myself and I did just what he told me. After the first altercation that I had with the school bully, I asked my grandfather where he got that phrase from.

After the lengthy and precise teaching, I immediately searched thru magazines, television channels and library books to get a glimpse of the baddest fighter in the world.

Imagine my delight in finding all the info I needed on him around the house and was intrigued. We all know of his accomplishments as well as his amazing celebrity status but I distinctively remember the energy he possessed inside of the ring.

It is evident that no one was safe in the ring with Cassius Clay aka Muhammad Ali and everybody knew it. From one knockout fight to the next, Ali was laying them out in numerous rings around the world.



Today, we celebrate the talents that he possessed and hail him as the ICON that he is. Even in his later years where he has battled various illnesses, you can still see that fire in his eyes and you know that if he had the opportunity again, He would sting like a Bee!
