LIRM Lookout ~ Behind the Scenes of "For Colored Girls"

Being a man who loves a good movie with an intense plot, I was skeptical about seeing Ntozake Shange's For Colored Girls last night.

This masterpiece was directed by Tyler Perry and stars Janet Jackson, Thandie Newton, Loretta Devine, Phylicia Rashad, Anika Noni Rose, Tessa Thompson and Whoopi Goldberg.  I left the theater upset, inspired to love my female family members and to continue to stand as a strong black man.

My hats off to the entire production of this film and I have a feeling the awards will rack up for this ensemble. Check out some behind the scenes footage of the actors in their elements as well as a quick interview with Ms. Ntozake Shange - Good Stuff!!
