One of our favorite actresses comes in the form of Dame Diahann Carroll and all that she stands for. We can remember her on the television screens as Julia on the self titled show on NBC.
Ms. Carroll would go on to create on the most recognizable African American characters in nighttime television in the form of Dominique Devereaux on the cult hit soap Dynasty. No one can own the room in any scene like her and do it with poise and beauty.
