We live in a age where everyone is always on the go and not much attention is paid to those things we can't live without. We effortlessly handle the hustle and bustle of traffic, meetings and budgets but some things can bring you joy if you embrace them.
As a young tyke, one of the things that always brought me a certain amount of happiness was the simple task of washing my hands. I can still hear my grandmother instructing me to wash my dirty hands after walking in the house. Even though this blogger often found it annoying, I knew it had to be done and quick.
During my treasured time in Houston with my grandparents, I had the privilege of experiencing them move into a pretty cool neighborhood. The streets were always clean, the yards immaculately cut and kids harmoniously playing together.
Even though these things bring me joy, I found myself even more impressed with the selections of sinks that were included in my grandparents purchases. From the guestrooms to the master bath, each area had its own sink and I would volunteer to clean them to the tee.
Some you could clean with the latest and greatest cleaners such as Comet, Scrubbing Bubbles and the like but there were a few that took a bit more tender loving care. There is nothing like cleaning an area of your home and seeing the final results of your work.
Now not to be left in the cold, there are hundreds of examples of cool and unique sinks. They can be found in the smallest yet fashionable spots and often can be the topic of conversation. One thing that I find myself doing upon going out for some breakfast, lunch or dinner is taking a look at what the restrooms have to offer.
Don't get me wrong when I say it is not the only thing I look for but often it plays a part in how my tip will be handled. Imagine going to one of the most ritziest eateries with a reputation for fine dining and you peruse the restrooms and they are not up to par nor clean.
