LIRM Style Spotlight ~ Big Hair Don't Care

Being a man of a certain age, I find that my most happiest memories are of my childhood and all that came with it. There were no worries, no bills and one never fathomed that there would be perils and trials to handle and judging from the above picture, I was in HEAVEN with my big hair.

One worry that I often found myself dealing with was the simple yet imperative task of picking out my Afro also known as my BIG HAIR.

You are reading a blog from this self proclaimed blogger who actually had visions that my Afro would not come out correct on a daily basis. My mom always had my Afro sheen and handy pic with the "Right On" fist on the end on my handy dresser and I knew the proper way to make it stand OUT.

In recent years we have seen high and low researgence concerning the big hair movement. There is nothing more frustrating than heading to your local movie theater, getting your tickets and popcorn, securing your comfortable seat and then someone drops down in front of you with the most intense big hair you have experienced in ages.

No matter how frustrated one may be, the Afro/big hair gives a certain edge to the people it surrounds. To this bald headed blogger, it often makes my imagination roam a bit when I see the brothers sporting them at the beaches and lakes.

Imagine the guy like me who had no other choice but to cut the remaining hair off of his head due to the receding hairline demon. From the modern Afro to the most intense and colorful high hair, there are many versions concerning big hair that are always up for discussion and viewing but we say say if you have major personality to go with the bold color, one must go for it.
