LIRM Lookback ~ Krystle Carrington COULD THROW SOME BOWS

Being a blogger of a certain age, I find that I must accept that I am a fan of the eighties and all that it encompassed. My memories of my upbringing are extremely vivid and precise and this is one thing that I love.

More eighties envy after the jump

My mind falls back to Wednesday nights in the Murray household where I could often be found preparing dinner and doing homework. My mother worked the late night shift as a supervisor at a packaging plant so I myself was left in charge.

My tasks included: cooking, cleaning and making sure that my precocious younger sister was prepped and ready for bed. My mom would call in thru the evening to make sure that I stayed the course of my chores. One her Wednesday night reminders would come in the form of a phone call stating, "Darian, DO NOT forget to tape Dynasty for me."

Before you knew it, I was involved right along with my mother. Imagine a young teenage boy loving the girls, enjoying basketball and in love with Krystle Carrington. In my opinion Linda Evans played her role as the long suffering wife of mogul Blake Carrington to the hilt. One thing that I always thought was that if I ever was in a fight? I WANTED KRYSTAL fighting with me.

I know I know!! Its not real but in character on a weekly basis, that lady had some hands. Check out these clips and you will see for yourself.
