LIRM Artistic Spotlight ~ Jonathan Jackson -2011 Emmy Worthy

This blogger often writes about my grandmothers love for her "stories" and the actors who participates in them. Today's artistic spotlight is from an actor who has grown up before our eyes and has done it with award winning expertise. Jonathan Jackson debut to the viewers of General Hospital in 1993 and hit the ground running.

His innocent portrayal of street smart kid Lucky Spencer on the long running daytime soap General Hospital has garnered him three Daytime Emmy Awards. From the his debut with Genie Francis and Tony Geary upon their characters return to fictional Port Charles, Jonathan delivered with clear and precise complex simplicity.

This Orlando, Florida native never fails to impress viewers with his complex portrayal of a recovering alcoholic who is determined to survive despite his demons. Not only has Jonathan shared his acting ability on the small screen but he has starred in great movies such as Deep End Of the Ocean with Michelle Pfeiffer and many more.

Check out some intense scenes he shares with onscreen colleagues Rebecca Herbst and Tyler Christopher as his character discovers his wife's betrayal with his brother.

After viewing these scenes, it is clear that Jonathan is a shoo in for a Leading Actor Emmy Awards in mid 2011. Huge thanks to LiasonFan427 for access to the video.
