The day is coming to a close and leave it to me to find some good soothing music to serve your soul. Being from the state of Louisiana, I have heard my share of good singing thru the years and tonight I showcase one more singer.

I remember the first time I laid eyes on the talented Jonte Short and this blogger must admit that I was instantly floored. Not only is she a beautiful shade of brown but Jonte can simply sang and I mean - SANG. From growing up in New Orleans, Louisiana and singing in various nightclubs, churches and choirs, Jonte has been down many highways and airways sharing her gift.
