Lifestyle Spotlight ~ Stylist April Roomet - Amazingly Gifted

Being that I am a person who prides himself on being a pretty stylish blogger, I often spot those who are dressed to perfection. Being raised by fashionable folks all around me, I get joy at perusing my various places and putting together some dope threads.

I have been noticing the look that platinum selling artist R. Kelly has been showing off lately and I told my fiance that I had to find out who was his stylist. Now please don't get me wrong, Sir Kelly's previous choices in the past have been just as dope but this time around something was different, kind of better with a extra bounce of style.

As I took some notes for my own personal style, I had to do some style investigating and found the person who was the cause for Robert's keen look. After watching the documentary on R. Kelly regarding his new project Love Letter, you best believe that once I spotted this blonde boss lady in the background, I knew I had to wait until the end credits to put a name with a face.

Her name is none other that the uber talented April Roomet and this blogger almost passed out from a style overdose upon checking out her bomb site http://www.aprilroomet.com/ Not only is she a natural in front of the camera as she starred in the popular reality show Candy Girls on the E Channel but she is a driving force behind the scenes as well. April has managed to weave a pretty intense portfolio and has done it in a way that surprised this blogger.

Maybe it is the timing of my blogging movement or the fact that I should have been living under a rock, but to have missed this mover and shaker is clearly me being out of touch with the times, but be it as it may, I can honestly say that I am IMPRESSED! April has worked with some of the best and has actually influenced society and the fashion world proper with her unique and keen eye for what style is on the radar for the seasons.

Some of her note worthy clients have included Snoop Dog, J. Holiday, Spice Girl Mel B, Rapper Bow Wow and many others. Another unbelievable moment had to be that of the 2005 BET Awards with the surprise reunion performance of the iconic rap trio The Fugees. I remember watching and being mesmerized by Lauryn's gear and more.

All in all, this blogger simply has to obey the blogging gods and publicly hail April Roomet a style influence for all cultures.
