Video of the Day- Jermaine Stewart Is Still Missed

The video of the day is from a young man who didn't have many hits in his time but his presence is still missed today. As a self proclaimed Video Soul kid during its heyday, I must admit when I first saw Jermaine Stewart I was shocked, impressed and immediately stuck with his appearance, talent and voice.

He could rock with the best of them and he had energy that was thru the roof. My female cousins were enamoured with his smile and his hair was always a basis of conversation for them as well. He got his start dancing on Soul Train and then as a background dancer with Shalamar before branching off on his own.

He would go on to release many hits including the mega hit "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off" as well as "Jody" dedicated to his close friend Legend Joy Watley. Sadly, we lost Jermaine to liver cancer in 1997 and though he is no longer with us, we still have his music to keep us dancing.

Dancing forever in our Hearts - Rest In Peace Sir!
