Sir Billy Preston & His Organ ~ Legendary

Thankfully this blogger grew up in a household where I was introduced to amazing music. My mother always had  the best joints playing thru out the house and rest assured, it had my dancing while I cleaned my room.

I also had the privilege of spending countless hours at my grandparents home in Houston, Texas where I was always jamming to the latest grooves. Not knowing that across town there was a genius by the name of Sir Billy Preston who was at work making a name for himself across the country.

I can still remember my first memory of the late great Sir Billy Preston and Syreeta as they belted out With You I'm Born Again. It was after the release that I was hooked on everything Sir Preston. You could find him performing by himself as well as with stars such as Phyllis Hyman, Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton, Nat King Cole and more.

Sadly he passed away but LIRM had to share his gift with our readers and showcase his talents on the organ. Let's just say that  after Sir Billy passed, their has not been another musician to do it like he did.
