Dame Judy Pace ~ "Legendary African American Actress"

Skin as smooth as chocolate, a smile as bright as the morning sun and talent that can stand with the best, these are just a few words that describe Dame Judy Pace. A legend in her own right, Ms. Pace is what we here at LIRM deem a trailblazer.

We love searching and finding Legends, Icons and Role Models and today we have done just that. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Judy was considered one of the most beautiful African American women in the world during the 60's & 70's having appeared in such groundbreaking television and movie  productions like Cotton Comes to Harlem and Peyton Place.

During her time on the now cancelled soap where she played soap villainess Victoria Fletcher, Ms. Pace managed to also star in various episodes of iconic television shows such as The Mod Squad, Sanford & Son, Good Times and many more.

Widowed and still acting and speaking before various organizations, she is the mother of two talented daughters,  a successful lawyer and a talented actress who co stars on the top rated soap opera The Young and The Restless. Check out some videos that showcase her talents and I bet you will remember that amazing smile.
