Lookback Video ~ Sir Lenny Williams

Chilling and looking out the window at the skyline and this blogger is thinking of good soul music for my bones. Growing up in a soulful household, I can still recall my mother turning up the music on that old fashion stereo set.

I can yet remember when she brought the latest soulful jawn from Sir Lenny Williams Cause I Love You and how she went off. We knew what time it was when she put the record on and added a nickle so the record wouldn't skip. There is not a soul of a singer/performer who could do it like Mr. Williams.

From Keith Sweat to R. Kelly, no one has been able to match his pleading with his lady and how he layed his emotions out on the line. Still performing, Mr. Williams is still killing the game today as he continues to tour and record to this day. You can catch up with him via his site and Twitter.
