LIRM Artistic Spotlight- ~ Dame Constance Towers - Always Shines

Sitting here at my desk my mind goes back to my grandmother and her daily soap opera moments.

Everyone in our family knew that we would not get a phone call answered, snack prepared nor a shirt folded while her stories were on. One of her favorite characters was that of General Hospital's  Helena Cassadine played to wicked perfection by the uber talented Constance Towers.

The character was originally created by the iconic Elizabeth Taylor back in the eighties but Ms. Towers has managed to make it her own. The cold and calculating way she chews up the scenery in each scene is something for the record books and we love her for it.
