LIRM Lookback Video ~ The System "Don't Disturb This Groove" Still Jams!

The lookback video of the day is one that I personally consider to be a classic. It had to be the summer of 83 and this youthful blogger was coming of age in Houston, Texas.

Being a young 11 year old tyke beginning the first trek of becoming a teenage boy had it's challenges and triumphs.  One of my favorite joints to listen to as I had a crush on my neighbor Erica was the smooth sound of The System and their hit "Don't Disturb This Groove".

Even though me and Erica would eventually grow out of our mutual attraction of one another, my heart stayed with this amazing duo. Over the years, each member has done solo projects but they have remained committed to their time as band mates.
