LIRM Lifestyle Spot ~ "Thank God My Mom KICKED ME OUT"

Being a blogger who is quite naturally inspired by things near and far from me, my mind is what I consider my mental playground. I find that I have had the gift to dream when others can often be seen daydreaming and for many that is enough.

My mind is filled with wonderful, amazing memories and experiences that have shaped me into the human being that I am today. As I came into my own as a teenager, my mother being the strong woman that she is today helped her somewhat lazy 18 year old son and did me a favor - SHE KICKED ME OUT!

Now please don't find fault, simply because she will tell you that I had no plans to ever leave home and she simply stated the facts, "Darian, you will never fly if I never push you out". Mom was right on all accounts and before I knew it, I was in my own place and paying my own bills.

One of the most flyest things about my first little spot was that it had skylights and I thought I was balling hard. My efficiency apartment had a small refrigerator with an equally small range to boil my water for my quick grits and sausage.

No matter how small my pad was, it was tricked out with furniture and a boss system that made the experience of coming in from work and looking up to my skylights and dreaming better ways to make a difference. In my opinion every home should have a skylight to add a dramatic effect but also to enhance the option to have a "moment" to meditate and reflect.

Imagine having a cold, rainy night on your hands and all you want is a warm bowl of soup and you are in. The phone rings off the hook with needs from all over the place but you simply silence the noise and look up and watch the rain wash away all frustrations.
