The positive ladies of the night were out in full effect last night as Uber DJ Beverly Bond's "5th Annual Black Girls Rock Awards kicked into full gear. The who's who of sisterhood support was in the building as various females were celebrated for their influence in today's society.

Imagine being in the Paradise Theater last night as hundreds of supporters came out to pay homage to Dame Ruby Dee, Keke Palmer, Raven Symon and Missy Elliott. Social networking mega site http://www.twitter.com/ was on fire as various attendees took pics and tweeted the night away.

Performers included some of the most amazing female artists to grace the stage in recent years in the form of: Keyshia Cole, Monica, Fantasia, Shontelle, Jill Scott and Marsha Ambrosia just to name a few. The awards will be televised via BET on November 7, 2010 along with the Digital Interviews with our friend Bevy Smith as well.
