It's that time of the week again as Lucious Lyon's attempts to control is kingdom.
Let's get to it shall we:
COOKIE IS HOME:
Cookie hits the ground running this week and visits the family compound and is taken back by all the trappings that he has managed to purchase over the years. Cookie who is STILL hungry literally for a meal after serving time in jail eats breakfast with his cold and calculating girlfriend Anika in attendance. Here's hoping that we will soon see these two ladies go at it and Cookie come out smelling like a rose.
COOKIE IS NOT TO BE PLAYED WITH!!!
HAKEEM IS PLEDGING HIS ALLEGIANCE:
Hakeem, who is sporting a pesky american flag original wife beater jawn, spots this young beautiful girl, Tiana, who makes a wrong turn right into his heart and his loins. Hakeem is young, dumb and full of you know what and is pursuing Tiana like she is the last superstar on earth. She gives him the cold shoulder but something tells us that things will swing his way soon and we will see a sweet love affair gone wrong come his way.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN - PORSCHA:
Cookie is a busy woman and needs somebody who can handle her antics/calls/appointments so who do we meet? Her new trusted assistant Porscha. We LOVE Porscha who is a sista struggling to walk in heels, talk on her phone and making sure that Cookie can maneuver through a crowd of meddling reporters all at the same time.
NOSY BECKY WITH A BLOND WIG:
Lucious's trusted assistant hilariously named Becky and who sports a slightly dry wig with potential highlights is played to perfection by Gabby Sidibe. Becky is in charge of making sure he gets his meds and nosily manages to google to see what his meds are for and confronts him about it. Lucious is livid and but not before throwing nuts at her like she is some animal at the damn zoo for using his bathroom? He confesses and swears her to secrecy.
BECKY IS A VALLEY GIRL WITH A BAD WIG!!!!
BIBBS & BI POPLAR MEDS:
Jamal who is just as conniving as his parents wants to be in charge people and how do we know this? He always whispering to his dad about running the company and can never sit still or so it seems. His wife Rhonda - cold chick - encourages him to reup on his bipolar meds but something tells us that she just might be keeping him doped up so she can continue her machinations and infiltrate the family company. The perfect wife seals the deal with a spirited session that involves felatio and a nice fluffy bib.
BRUH!!!
HOT SHOE ALERT:
Cookie and Lucious have it out in the offices of Empire after she confronts his wayward artist who slightly resembles Gucci Mane and his antics. Cookie stands up to him like a convict who has done major time and challenges him to a knuck if you buck session outside. Cookie and Lucious have MAJOR chemistry and this is more evident than EVER after she throws her somewhat and slightly used designer shoe at him down the hall.
BUNKIE FLOATS:
Last week we saw Lucious kills Bunkie in cold blood and this week his body is fished out of the harbor. Lucious stood straight up in front of his family along with tears and said that he would hunt down whomever killed his homebody.
COLD BLOODIED!!!
A PISSED PRESIDENT:
After Hakeem manages to clown in a high end restaurant and calls President Obama a sellout, Lucious has to fix things and calls the POTUS. He attempts to explain the situation and is promptly hung up on by the leader of the free world.
LUCIOUS IS PRESSED & SO HIS IS SUIT:
Lucious gets wind of Cookie's plan to help Jamal become the breakout artist as well as come out as a gay man and goes into publicity overdrive. He goes to his home and basically lets him know that he will financially cut him off if he comes out and will lose everything. The plan works and we later see Jamal at home crying and writing a song about being truthful.
WHAT FLOOR PLEASE?:
Lucious and the gang enter the elevator after the press conference and things get testy to say the least. Cookie and the rude rapper exchange barbs and she asks Lucious why won't he defend her. He rudely says the rude rapper didn't say anything wrong. Lucious boo thang Anika, who reminds us of a certain record executive in real is laughing under her breath and Cookie goes ballistic.
COOKIE IS CAUGHT:
Cookie is seen leaving the party and is soon met with Agent Carter who lets her know that they need her help. Cookie lets them know that they are gonna get her killed!!!
END SCENE!!!
HOMEWORK FOR NEXT WEEK:
1. Will Hakeem and Tiana get closer than ever and will he eventually find himself embroiled in a scandal with her?
2. Will Rhonda get Jamal his meds or will she continue to control him with her trusty bib?
3. How long will it be before Cookie and Lucious give into their lust and love for one another?
4. Just what did Cookie do to get released from prison earlier than expected?
5. Will Becky get a better wig?
