Tonight we have a special episode at a special time of our favorite show CSI and boy is it a doozy.
Let's get to it shall we:
This episode we have our boy Nick front and center as he and the team members are called out to a scene where there is a shiny victim - Yep - Shiny Victim. The victim is found to have died from asphyxia and that's just the beginning of this shiny saga.
PARTY ANIMAL:
The victim, Ava, was diagnosed as a party girl via the issues with her nasal passages during the mandatory autopsy. Ava's somewhat shady stepfather and her distraught mother are truly shocked at her death *side eye* but Sara assures the couple that she would crack the case and what Sara wants? She gets!
BEEP BEEP:
Finlay finds that Ava was injured by a classic 1938 Packard sedan and is off to find the owner. The car is traced to a high roller type executive who tells Finlay and Sara that he hadn't spoken to Ava in ages and the car is in storage in a vault. Before long we meet the high roller executive's brother who is repairing the fancy ride in a special place within the buidling. Finlay takes a closer look and finds the Packard as well as a huge tub of silver chrome paint.
*CLUE ALERT*
ALIBI AND A LIE:
Both brothers claim alibi's but something tells us that these guys are not on the up and up. One brother is a party animal and the other brother is a painter who desires to paint canvases and not dead bodies or so he says. Their late father was a mob heavyweight who was killed in 1998 in another one the family's fancy ride - a clean and mean Cadillac. Later it is proved that Ava and the brother who is the painter were in love with each other which means? Ava knocked boots with both brothers at various times - Gross Ava!! Just Gross!!
OUCH:
Dead girl Ava is seen via flashbacks fighting with her murderer and hits her on the hood ornament and is then seen being murdered in the tub of paint, placed in the trunk and taken away to the resting place that she was found at by the team members. *Run On Sentence People*
Anyhoo!!!
WHATS THE VALUE?:
The team is then led to a car appraiser who left a lofty pizza ordering magnet found at the scene of the crime. Sara is pissed because the appraiser acted as if he was telling the truth and we all know Sara doesn't take well to fibs. Ava's heel from her broken shoe is found and Megan traces the items on it to a storage unit in Ava's name. Inside they find the aforementioned Cadillac along with one of the brothers who is hiding behind some trusted boxes.
DADDY'S LAST RIDE:
The Cadillac was posted on a online auction and bids came up for as much as $100,000 but was blocked by one of the brothers. The car is what some would call a collectors items and even Finlay found it in outstanding shape. We also find that she can take a motor apart and put it back together effortlessly. Megan and Ryan are later seen inspecting the car and found some human hair in the passenger seat along with more items in the truck of the car.
THE MOTHER OF THE YEAR AWARD GOES TO:
After lifting partial fingerprints from inside the trunk of the car, the prints are traced back to Ava's seemingly distraught mother. Ava's mom is in trouble with some bad guys and used her daughter to get the car for a wealthy guy from Dubai and basically chose money over her own daughter.
RYAN GOES BACK IN TIME:
Ryan deduces that Ava's stepfather, Duncan, is the secret buyer than her mom spoke about with Sara and is in all actuality the illegitimate brother of the battling brothers. Finlay and Ryan find more clues inside the trusty Cadillac and find blood residue throughout the vehicle.
FINLAY'S LAB RESULTS:
Finlay runs DNA testings and finds that the killer is fact the car appraiser who claimed innocence earlier. He actually killed the brother's father years ago because he was sleeping with his girlfriend. He confesses and stated that he went to kill the mistress that was with the dead guy on a rendezvous and decided to kill him as well.
He also confesses that Ava came to him for help and he was in jeopardy of being found out to be the killer but she returned early. She told him that she wanted in on whatever he was into and he said no. They fought and he killed her to keep her from going to the police.
ZOOM:
The episode ends with Ryan & Finlay taking the cadillac for one last ride before it's turned over to a museum.
Another Great Episode!!
