LIRM Lookback ~ Barbara Weathers ~ Talented!!!

I can still remember my mother putting on some soulful grooves from the amazingly talented Atlantic Starr and getting her cleaning started. Now although I dreaded the early rising on Saturday morning I must say that a part of me drew excitement from the musical selections.

One of my favorite singers is that of the talented Barbara Weathers who gained fame from singing with Atlantic Starr. Her voice was smooth as molasses and her beauty had this then sixteen year old boy feeling some kind of way.

Barbara eventually went solo and had a few hits under her belt but eventually left the scene. She has recently been scene and heard with the likes of Will Downing and Kirk Whalum as well as teaching voice and music in North Carolina.
