LIRM Look Back - Rick James

He came on the screen like a blaze of glory and lived life on his own terms including the bad times. Who doesn't know Rick James and all the things that came with him. But what many of us don't really realize that Sir James was an accomplished musician with ties to the local church.

He wrote, arranged and performed many of his own hits as well as produced for various artist such as: The Mary Jane Girls, Teena Marie, Eddie Murphy and many others. Even though he has passed away, we have his legacy of music to keep us entertained for years to come.
