Aaaaaw Soookie Soookie Now, the video of the day is one for the record books and we mean this sincerely. It was the 80's and I was a precocious teenager who was starting to find out about girls, puberty and dance moves.
I remember seeing the mega hit "Purple Rain" and being thoroughly impressed with Morris Day and The Time. From the shiny suits to the slippery shoes, The Time made quite the impact on the world in that season of flashy lyrics and ego laced songwriting.
