Growing up, I was glued to my television during the rainy days and hot summer mid days and I found solace in iconic television shows and situation comedies. One person who stood out to me was actress Janet Dubois who played the sexy and outgoing Wilona Woods on the top rated comedy "Good Times."

Wilona was beautiful, tough and a friend who stuck closer than a brother/sister. I had the blessed opportunity of meeting Ms. Dubois years ago and man she had an amazing spirit and was still beautiful.

Not only is she an accomplished actress but she is also and amazing singer who lent her voice to the theme song of another top rated comedy "The Jefferson's".
