Darian's Titillating Tacos

I woke up thinking and wanting a nice Mexican dish to give me life and wouldn't you know it, I had to blog about it. I immediately thought of my Titillating Taco recipe that has given joy to many of my guest.

One bite into these healthy sinful Tacos and you will be hooked. I do want to warn you who try these bad boys, they will cause you to lick the plate.

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/4 lb. of ground turkey
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic clove crushed
1 cup  mild salsa
flour tortillas
Thinly sliced iceberg lettuce
Sour cream (optional)

Directions:
In nonstick skillet, heat olive oil and add ground turkey. Cook turkey mixture 8 to 10 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink and stirring occasionally. With slotted spoon, transfer turkey mixture to bowl.

To same skillet, add onion and garlic, cook 6 to 8 minutes until tender while stirring occasionally. Return turkey mixture to skillet. Stir in salsa and cook 2 to 3 minutes until heated through. Remove skillet from heat

Place stack of tortillas between paper towels on microwave-safe plate. Heat in microwave on High 10 to 15 seconds to warm.

To serve, divide iceberg lettuce and turkey mixture among tortillas; top with sour cream, if you like, and fold over to eat out of hand.
