MC Hammer - Let's Get It Started

The video of the day is one that got me looking for my Troop Suit and sliding shoes. Unless you were living under a rock or in a light coma in the 80's and 90's, it is a true statement that MC Hammer held it down with his infectious dance moves and serious slides.

I remember when this unknown artist appeared on the scene with crazy, unbelievable dance moves and he hit the ground running literally and never stopped. You could see James Brown's influence throughout his complicated moves and he never denied it.

He always wore the illest Troop Suits and my mom is a witness that I had to have at least 3 of them. I thought I was Hammer myself and you could catch me dancing my behind off at the school dances - Thank you Hammer!!!!!
