It is often said that some people leave this earth way too soon but their work stands well after they are gone. That saying can be spoken of Sadia Morrison, a gifted and talented Stylist to many and friend to many more.
Born and raised in Bronx, New York, the always colorful Morrison was known for her outgoing personality and her love for bold patterns and colors. In a place where many predicted failure, Sadia made inroads with her infectious and eclectic styling.
She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City where she studied fashion marketing and design. She also worked with famed photographers Martha Cooper, Alexi Hay, Lori Lyons and Effie Cohen. She was known thru out for being blunt and never taking no for an answer but mostly for being fiercely loyal.
Sadia clients included NFL players Ahmad Bradshaw, Thomas Jones, and Adam “Pacman” Jones. She was also privileged to work with Alist celebrities such as Rappers Kanye West, 50 cent and Reality Star Brooke Hogan. Even with all her success, Sadia had more long term goals in mind.
She eventually moved to Harlem, NY and opened a company with a specific goal in mind – “Become a Leading figure in the styling industry.” She founded “Project Barbi Media” which included, image development as well as public relations. She also served as Fashion Director for Juice Magazine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Morrison’s brother states,” If Sadia's with you, she's with you. If something happens, she's with you.” Many would say that with all Sadia’s accomplishments, she was a generous spirit and one who would give you her last.
Her close friend John Moore, whom Morrison worked with at Vibe Magazine stated, “She always had the personality of a star and she always came off like she could conquer the world.”
Sadly, Sadia Morrison passed away in 2008 amid a cloud of mystery. We at Legends, Icons and Role Models salute the time Sadia walked the earth and we celebrate the life and personality of a Talented and Bright Light taken too soon.

I met saadia 0n the greyh0und leaven ny 6 yearz ago she sat next 2 me 0ffered me ah water..she asked me if I heard 0f juice magazine..I hadnt..i waz 0n my way t0 detr0it..she was g0in t0 minnes0ta..she had style she did ah ph0t0 sh0ot with b.m.f for that magazine..she sh0wed me her name in the creditz..saadia t0ld me she picked 0ut everything including the ph0nez f0r the sh0ot..we xchanged numberz she t0ld me she knew mad ppl..nd the 0nly reas0n she was 0n the bus was it was t0 late f0r ah flite..she had 0n f0x b0otz nd c0at nd ah taxi hat her hair was bl0nde nd black nd her lashez were d0ne..veri nice..she said she w0uld hit me up if she was ever in detr0it nd she did when she kame thru..0f c0ure needing a ride 0r directi0nz.. I REcently l0oked her up 0n faceb0ok I had n0 Idea..saadia had past 0n..she partied with the best rest her s0ul the m0ld has been br0ken..she was nd is an 0riginal fashi0n stylist..
