APB: Where Is 80's Girl Group Sweet Obsession??

Nothing like a song and/or official video seared in your memory. You know the kind where you don't even need to hear the song because it's just in your mind - forever? One particular group of ladies who managed to do that for many fans is that of Sweet Obsession. The group was made up of three sisters, Keena, Klmmala and Michelle, from Detroit, Michigan and boy could they dance and sing.

The group went by the name Greens 3 growing up and later chose even the catchy Foxx before eventually settling on Sweet Obsession once they signed with a record label. Some people credit the legendary talented Melba Moore with discovering the sisters and bringing them to the forefront.  

Listen people, these women could SANG and furthermore they kind of were out way before the three member girl groups were making a resurgence. We are talking major love from the music industry and various nominations including Soul Train Award noms were just a few areas of where the love was strong.

It kind of sucks that the group doesn't get enough props even though they didn't have loads of massive hits. They did manage to release the uber popular Gonna Get Over You *Still Bumps* as well as Being In Love Ain't Easy, Elevator and more but never could get that "hit" that so many think an artist needs before being successful. They also worked with the late Robert Brookins and Gerald Levert and more but somewhat disappeared from the music scene. 

Hopefully someone will let the sisters know how much their fans still miss them and hopefully some concert promoters will put them on the road again - Fingers Crossed.
