Karyn White - VOCAL LEGEND
A lonely, rejected housewife is alone in her suburban home and is battling the effects of a broken marriage. She feels as if she has no one to love and support her, her heart is heavy and her mind is cluttered with confusion.
Born October 14, 1965 in Los Angeles, California, Karyn White’s life spelled out destiny at an early age. Her father was a trained and skilled musician and her mother was a seasoned choir instructor so quite naturally she would mesh well within music and arts. She gained more exposure singing in various choirs and talent shows where she perfected her god given gifts and talents.
The project simply entitled “Karyn White” would prove to be a quality project with the chart topping hit “The Way You Love Me”. She would go on to release the empowering anthem “Superwoman” and with the song, Karyn would prove to be the poster child for Women being and feeling empowered.
Karyn and Lewis would ultimately divorce and she settled into the role of a mother and business woman by opening a successful interior design and real estate business. Even with all the success in her business ventures and her raising a beautiful daughter, Karyn could not stay away from her first love.
Here at Legends Icons and Role Models, we salute Karyn White for being a vocal trailblazer and a Muscial Legend and we anxiously await her return!
