Susan Taylor, David Dinkins Celebrate Maya Angelou Stamp Dedication In New York

The late poet/author Maya Angelou has been the subject of a book from her friend Tavis Smiley this year and now she is the face of a stamp collection which was officially celebrated today in New York. 

Noted former New York City Mayor David Dinkins, Essence Magazine founder Susan Taylor and Rachel Robinson, the widow of the late Jackie Robinson, participated in the ceremony which was held at the African Burial Ground National Monument.
