Streaming Network Crackle Adds Dennis Quaid, Kate Bosworth, Bryan Cranston to Original Programming
Crackle is here to stay and the world will take notice. At least that is how we felt upon hearing of the news that the growing streaming brand has some quality original programming headed our way.
The unveiling of its expanding lineup of original programming was announced today which includes its first one-hour drama series, "The Art of More," starring Dennis Quaid, Christian Cooke, Kate Bosworth and Cary Elwes.
Via Crackle:
Crackle also announced added features to its revolutionary new "Always On" design that will create a seamless streaming experience, mirroring programmed linear TV viewing. As soon as a viewer launches the Crackle app, a scheduled program will immediately begin playing and consumers can simultaneously browse for something else in the channel guide while continuing to watch what's currently on. In addition, Crackle will offer multiple channels of themed content that will vary throughout day parts - daytime, primetime and late night. Each will have programs that are curated and scheduled - providing ease in discoverability while still allowing for on demand streaming. "Always On" is currently available on the Roku platform and will be launching on a variety of other platforms this fall.
