Exclusive Interview "The Help" Cast

Yesterday I saw a movie that is in my opinion a thought provoking masterpiece that should have been on the movie screens years ago. I personally went alone so that I could watch The Help and think of some of my ancestors who worked as the hired help years ago.


One of my favorite actresses is that of Viola Davis, who shined bright as always as a emotionally drained maid but her friend played to perfection by talented actress Octavia Spencer steals the movie as a battered maid who can somehow show her strengths in ways you can't imagine.

This blogger can still remember my grandmother, aunts and uncles getting up at the crack of dawn to journey across town to clean houses that seemed larger than life. Never once did I think they were doing an injustice by partaking in these types of tasks simply because as they grew older they would eventually move on to better situations.

There is nothing like seeing the help give up the regular job and move on to bigger and better situations. Check out this exclusive interview with the cast of this amazing film and here how the movie/book had a profound effect on each of them.
