Alpha Man: The Brotherhood of MLK Documentary

Growing up in the south with grandparents and family members who lived thru the struggle of racial equality is what I would say is a blessing. I often tell my friends and family that I am better simply because I have heard tons of stories regarding an amazing individual named Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

In a time where our african american history is clouded by various outlets that showcase some of our brothers and sisters in a negative light, LIRM had to share a profound documentary that is profoundly mind changing. Unless one has been living under a heavy rock for the last fifty years, you must know the legacy that Dr. King left for us to maintain.

BET did and amazing job of shining a light on Dr. King's character as an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternirty. Hosted by actor and Alpha member Hill Harper, the production is timeless in that it transports you back to the time when the brotherhood stood together as well as shows the progress it made in erecting an impressive monument to the slain leader.
