Vanessa Williams Joins The Good Wife In Fab New Role + Mark Zuckerberg Covers Vanity Fair October 2015 Issue




Vanessa Williams is fresh off an amazing moment during the 2015 Miss America pageant where she was given a public apology regarding her stepping down in 1984. As if the love couldn't get any more strong, Williams set to star in the CBS legal drama The Good Wife as Courtney Boalt. 



The recurring character is described as an extremely successful, self-made businesswoman who is potentially interested in backing Chris Noth's character Peter Florrick's Presidential campaign. In the process, she meets Alan Cummings character, Eli Gold, and sparks fly. 





Vanessa, who recently married Jim Skrip, faced criticism from the Miss America organization but didn't let the circumstances be her final bow and went on to massive successes that include Grammy nominations, NAACP wins and impressive television, musical and Broadway success.
