Emmy History Is Made With Viola Davis, Regina King, Uzo Aduba, Reg E. Cathey and BESSIE Taking Home Top Honors
The world of television is on high tonight as history was made in the Emmy world with actors Viola Davis, Regina King, Uzo Aduba, Reg E. Cathey and HBO Biopic BESSIE taking home coveted honors.
Viola, who is riding a massive wave as the lead in How To Get Away With Murder, had every ear on high alert tonight as she shared the need for diversity in Hollywood during her acceptance speech for Lead Actress.
Uzo Aduba brought many to tears as she shared her love for her family, inner circle and more during her acceptance speech as Supporting Actress In a Drama Series.
Regina King, who won for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie, was taken aback by the win but brought the perfect words to the podium.
Reg E. Cathey also won Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Freddie Haynes on House Of Cards and HBO also garnered a huge win with its biopic BESSIE starring nominees Queen Latifah and Monique.
