Bounce TV's In The Cut Continues It's Rise in Viewership; Joins Empire In Rare Ratings Increases

In The Cut is now the most-watched original series in Bounce TV history averaging: 266K Households, 190K Adults 18-49, 161K Adults 25-54 and 383K Persons 2+.



The series premiere of Bounce TV's In The Cut shattered viewer ratings for its premiere a few nights ago and episode 2 shot it out the ballpark and we are talking phenomenally. 

The series plot line centers around Jay Weaver (Dorien Wilson), a barbershop owner trying to bond with the adult son he never knew he had. The drama and comedy comes in equal doses as Jay balances working alongside his wisecracking employees and his feisty ex-wife (Jackee Harry) running the beauty salon next door. Also involved in the series is Wilson's former costar Ken Lawson of The Parkers and more.

The series premiere telecast on Tues. Aug. 25 at 9:00 p.m. (ET) delivered 172,000 Adults 18-49, which more than doubled (+102%) the time period average* and edged out Bounce TV's premiere of Off The Chain: Rodney Perry as the network's previous number one premiere in the key demographic.

 In The Cut's successful debut also delivered:
233,000 Households (+42% over the time period average*)
308,000 Persons 2+ (+53%)
137,000 A25-54 (+46%)


The second episode premiere telecast of In The Cut on Tues. Sept. 1 at 9:00 p.m. (ET) delivered: 298K Households (+28% vs. series premiere telecast), 208K Adults 18-49 (+21%), 185K Adults 25-54 (+35%) and 458,000 Total Viewers (+49%) - all new records for a Bounce TV Original series telecast, edging out the hit show Mann & Wife.
