Fans and Friends Pay Homage To B.B. King In Memphis, TN

The world is a bit quieter now that legendary blues artist B.B. King passed away a few days ago due to a series of strokes.

Mr. King, who spent a lot of time perfecting his skills in Memphis, TN as well as having a top selling restaurant of the same name on Beale Street, touched hundreds of thousands during his time on earth. Today some of those individuals payed their respects in a huge memorial/celebratory event on Beale Street that also included a service at nearby Handy Park.

Friends such as blues singer Ruby Wilson, family of the late Bobby Blue Bland and loads more walked the famed street in honor of Mr. King. The official funeral services will be held in Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center in Indianola, Mississippi.
