The Tribute To African-American Achievements In Television event was held in New York City tonight and the talent and style in the room was on 100.

The event, which pays tribute to African Americans who have made inroads in the area of television, was held at Cipriani Wall Street and paid homage to individuals such as Oprah Winfrey, Gladys Knight, Cicely Tyson and Julius Erving just to name a few.
