Is there anything that Viola Davis can't do?? That's the question that all of us have been wondering because acting heavyweight Viola is prepping for one of the most coveted roles in her career.
Viola is teaming up with mega director/producer Steven Spielberg's Amblin TV to star as iconic Harriet Tubman in a yet to be title biopic with HBO.
Based on Kate Clifford Larson's book Bound for the Promise Land, the film will highlight Tubman's courageous acts leading slaves to freedom through the Underground Railroad and later fighting with the Union during the Civil War. Davis will co produce with her husband Julian Tennon along with producers Kirk Ellis and Doug Ellin.
