The talented pianist played countless concert halls, encouraged millions with her soul stirring lyrics all while battling demons of her own. Netflix is gearing up to bring her fans into a more personal look into her complicated life with the upcoming documentary "What Happened, Miss Simone".

The documentary, which is poised to premier June 26, 2015 and in various theaters as well, also hears uplifting and heartbreaking stories from her daughter Simone along with interviews from those closest to the late artist.
