James Earl Jones & Cicely Tyson Heading Back To Broadway in Revival of "The Gin Game" + Whoopi Goldberg Covers Variety's Women of Power Issue




Legendary Movie and Broadway stars James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson are just as busy as their younger counterparts in Hollywood these days.


Mr. Jones, who starred with Dame Vanessa Redgrave in Much Ado About Nothing, is joining Ms. Tyson, who knocked it out the ballpark last season as Ms Ophelia the mother of Viola Davis's character Annalise Keating on the hit series How To Get Away With Murder, in the upcoming Broadway production of "The Gin Game".

The production, chronicles a man (Jones) who strikes up a friendship with a woman (Tyson) over a spirited card game, will premier October 13, 2015 at the Golden Theater.
