"Kevin Needs A Hobby" Secrets and Lies "The Confession" Recap

Last week we saw Ben being terrorized by some unknown person who managed to lock him in his truck and causing him to break the window to get out.

This weeks episode was just as cutting edge/risky as we see Ben once again trying to figure out who killed his son Tom, who is trying to frame him for the murder and just what other secrets are his neighbors and family/friends are hiding.

DON'T ASK MY NEIGHBOR:
After nice advice from Christy, Ben heads over to his neighbors Elaine and Kevin's house to chop it up about what he thinks Kevin is doing to him. Elaine stops Ben and tells him in a real nice nasty way he should back up and stop making things bad for everyone involved. This dude's neighbors are not feeling what he is mentally selling and her husband Kevin lets Ben know that he knows it was him who killed Tom.

BIG BROTHER MOVES:
Ben is clearly shaken by all of this and his daughter Vanessa is just as concerned for her father than he is. Poor Ben is being sent text messages from himself- PAUSE - showing him passed out in his bed. His trusted friend, Doug, is rambling about how things could have gotten this far but Ben pays him no mind and finds the hidden camera in his bedroom.

Pesky Detective Cornell is back at the house searching for more cameras which puts his put upon family into further chaos. Ben decided to stay with Doug which pisses off his oldest daughter and saddens his youngest daughter who we believe is the actual killer of her secret brother. Cornell heads over to shady Kevin's home and obviously discusses Ben and his struggles.

SOMEBODY GET THIS LADY A NEW CASE TO COVER

FLASHBACK:
Ben is struggling with flashbacks to the moment when Christy had the abortion and things began to change between the two of them. It's during this time that we see how he ended up sleeping with Jessie which in turn resulted in Tom being conceived. He is sad but has other things to be worried about because somebody is clearly out to destroy or even kill him.

Ben is jolted out of the flashback with a visit from Jessie who wants to have how shall we say - some fun for old times sake - but he lets her know that he can't go there anymore. She runs out and he follows her but she drives off. Things shift TREMENDOUSLY when Ben is taken by surprise by his neighbor Kevin and his trusted 9 millimeter weapon.

DANG KEVIN!!
Listen!  Kevin is clearly not for Ben's games and what proceeds to happen is a torture session that includes something like water boarding, knives, and massive punches. Kevin needs a damn hobby y'all ASAP.

Via more flashbacks we see where Kevin caught Ben and Jesse getting their freak on - IN BEN'S GARAGE - Ben ain't bout shit y'all. Kevin confesses that he knew that Ben was Tom's father and he also confesses that he has been the one who has been following and mentally touring him the entire time.

Ben holds to the truth of him not killing his precious son which prompts Kevin to make him dig his own grave. Kevin is really starting to get on our nerves with this cat and mouse game of did you or did you not kill sweet Tom which aint even his business.

Ben eventually has enough of the games and cold cocks Kevin with a swift right hook to the frontal lobe with a rock and snatches Kevin's cell phone. He manages to run away but is hunted down by Kevin and his dangerous gun and makes him hang up the phone. They go back to the shallow grave that Ben has dug at the bequest of crazy Kevin but Ben STILL holds to the truth.

Cornell shows up before Kevin can shoot Ben and they arrest the insane neighbor. Ben returns home to his concerned family and friend but is visibly shaken and rightfully so. Ben tells Doug that he is shame of himself because his young son was killed and he allowed himself to become the victim instead.  Later in the evening, Ben is checking some emails and gets a messy email from the reporter who he did some work for earlier in the series.

COMPUTER LOVE:
He hightails it over to the reporters house and as he kicking his ass in a SERIOUS way Ben spots hundreds of newspaper clippings about Detective Cornell. The reporter confesses that he sent the email to Ben to get his attention because he is researching Cornell and his shady dealings.

These people are CRAZY!!!!!
