Malcolm whisks Cookie away to a snowy spot in the mountains for some good ole laying on of the hands. She is handling musical business while hanging out with her chocolate cat daddy and it gets interesting with these two star crossed wanna be lovers. Malcolm is clearly addicted to Malcolm's gun but her heart is with Mr. Lyons.
They knock them boots on a fancy plush rug and it climaxes with Cookie Faye Lyon's back getting BLOWN OUT!!!! What they don't know is that Lucious is searching high and low for his Cookie *TOO FUNNY* and eventually locates her when her assistant Porscha confesses that she is in the mountains with her boo thang.
Lucious kicks Cookie and her sister clean out of the Empire kingdom aka offices after finding out she and her Malcolm had been knocking the boots on the rug. Malcolm asks her to come with him out of town but she let's him down gently and they part ways after a nice goodbye kiss.
After all that clowning Cookie, Lucious realizes that he love, needs and wants her back and seeks out Jamal to help him get her back.
THEM IS FIGHTING WORDS:

Andre is having a time of it these days and his wife leaves him because of his affection for the sneaky Michelle character. Something tells us that Rhonda is gonna be used by the devil to pay her husband back and she gonna seal it with a praise.
Vernon and Andre end up having a major fight in his living room and Rhonda comes in and rescues him from getting his ass beat by Vernon by knocking him over the head with a trusty candle holder. They check on Vernon but Vernon is DEAD as a doorknob and they panic and nobody can find good ole Vernon. Rhonda stops her son oops her husband from calling the police by telling him that he can't call the cops because she is -- PREGNANT!!!

FATHER SON TIME:
Jamal and Lucious return to the family's old home aka the scene of where Lucious threw young Jamal in the trash can after seeing him in his mother's dusty heels. Jamal tells his father that he worshipped him when he was growing up but things have changed so much that they quickly move on to the next subject.
Lucious begs Jamal with his desire to get his masters - which are worth a lot of money - back from Beretti. Jamal doesn't even realize that he is becoming his father and by the time he finds out? It just may be to late to turn around.
Cookie and her sister Carol, played by Tasha Smith, show up at the family compound with information about Hakeem joining forces with Burnetti which shakes Lucious to his core. Jamal is later seen at Beretti's spot doing just what his father wanted - hanging the shady businessman over the ledge as he looks about 15 flights down.

ANIKA DIPPING IT LOW AND SPREADING IT WIDE:
Lucious catches Hakeem and Anika in the bed together at Beretti's and can't believe his eyes. Hakeem and Anika and Andre join forces to take Empire away from his father but we believe Ms. Anika just might end up having a surprise bambino for either Hakeem or his now healed father.*More on that Below* Cookie asks Hakeem to join forces with her but the youngster lets his mother down easy and says NO.
DOCTOR'S DIAGNOSIS:
Lucious's doctor comes over to speak with him regarding his ALS diagnosis and she confesses that she misdiagnosed him??
Excuse us Dr. Mis Diagnosed Lady:
Myasthenia Gavis is what Lucious has and she promptly tells him that it is treatable with gives the nefarious music mogul a new lease on life. Lucious heads over to the church where Andre is somewhat taking refuge and tells him about his desire for turning over a new leaf but not before disowning Hakeem.
THESE SAINTS AIN'T LOYAL:
Andre shoots Lucious down and tells him that he is taking refuge in the church and he will be there until his dad dies. Lucious sets his sights on Michelle and steps to her all serious like - he was faking like hell - and tells her that he wants to make a gospel record with her.
She promptly says yes which totally breaks Andre's spiritual heart. Andre lets her know that she basically opened her spiritual legs to his father and it won't end well.

PILLOW TALK WITH BUNKIE:
Lucious is placed on drugs for his myasthenia gavis which produces hysteria and he confesses in his sleep that he killed Bunkie and does it right in front of Cookie. Cookie is shook to her core by this revelation and puts her plan in motion.
She attempts to smother Lucious in his sleep but can't bring herself to do it. Via security cameras in his bedroom Lucious shows Cookie and Jamal the video of her trying to smother him and he talks to her like he Ike Turner. Cookie tells Jamal what his dad did to Bunkie but she is thrown out by his newly hired goons. She needs her trusted assistant Proscha to help her set some order and get things back to normal but ole girl to busy doing other things.

BUMPING STOMACHS:
Jamal and his new boo thang end up bumping stomachs in the Empire boardroom and doesn't feel a bit of shame for the deed. Something about this new boo thang just ain't sitting right with us and before long we all know that secrets that will come out. One secret that we are curious about is how does the guy keep his natural hair so Diana Ross'ish?
GIFT SET TIME:
Lucious calls the brothers into the family dining room just like he did in the first episode of the serie bearing gifts. He confesses to the family that his illness was misdiagnosed and he gives this fake ass speech about forgiveness and the family unit and he does it with fancy little gift boxes.
1. Hakeem gets a shiny gold chain with gold wings on it and he apologies for running Camilla away.
2. Andre is gifted a fancy gold cross that would make Bishop Don Juan, Rev Ike and Bill Clinton jealous and gifts him with a foundation and $1 Million.
3. Jamal is gifted a fancy scepter and receives his blessing as the A&R President of Empire Records. Jamal and proclaims him the leader of the family.
4. Cookie is gifted with nothing - She is pissed!!!

BROTHERLY LOVE & WAR:
The brothers are already not getting along and don't feel like answering to their brother and privately scheme to get him out the way. Andre is pissed because he didn't get to run the company, Hakeem is pissed because his album is pushed back by Jamal and Jamal is slowly turning into a reincarnation of the man who threw him in the trashcan.
The feds snatch Cookie up as she is leaving Empire and tells her that they are building a case against Lucious and they mentally tie her hands into helping them take him down. Cookie doesn't take the bait and hits the street and hails a cab.
LET'S MAKE A DEAL AND A SCENE:
The Empire press conference is looking good with stars like Patti LaBelle in attendance but things take a turn for the worse when one of their rap artists make a public spectacle of himself and calls Jamal a fairy leader.
The family is ready to get buck but Lucious doesn't allow them too for the sake of the public but that rapper just might end up floating with Bunkie and his gold chain. The leaders of the company have a quick meeting regarding the comments about Jamal and Andre is clearly pressed by his father's surprising love for Jamal.
IT'S ABOUT TO BE A GIRL FIGHT:
Hakeem, Andre, Anika and Cookie meet up together to take Lucious down and instantly Cookie lets the insults come out at 100 miles per hour. They have a smart mouthed session and things turn ratchet real quick. Cookie dragged Anika across that room, floor and pool table so effortlessly that we deem her Krystle Carrington 2015.
Her and Anika agree to work together but only after Andre and Hakeem pull her off of the pretty debutant.

It's the night of The Lucious Show or whatever the name is and Cookie is SO proud of her babies who loosely resembles Chris Brown and another artist we won't name. We aint trying to get sued!!! As he performs we are treated to flashbacks that kind of chronicle the rise of the Lyon's family.
Lucious and Jamal have a heart to heart talk and he confesses that his real name is - Dwight Walker and Cookie don't even know it - LOL! He confesses his low for his son and apologies for treating his son so bad because of his sexual preference. There is a knock at the dressing room door and the feds come in and bust Lucious for Bunkie's murder.
The fans sitting up in building getting the info like Aretha at a press conference!!!!
Lucious blames his ex wife for setting him up and turning him in and they trade barbs as he is led out. Jamal blames his mom and hits the stage in honor of his father who is going down for murder. Becky lets Lucious know that she can't find Vernon and there is a hostle takeover and he spots his sons watching them take him out the door.
The episode ends with Andre and Rhonda checking on their upborn bady, Jamal running Empire, Cookie living in the big house and Lucious sitting in his cell plotting his return like JR Ewing in Dallas.
