In a time where people are always on the go and not really ready to make complete stops, people aren't feeling stopping by the local massive malls for hours at a time. Imagine looking online and seeing where your favorite food truck will be parked and you make plans to peruse their menu.
Now take out the food and replace it with - wait for it - style, fashion, unique items etc and what do you have?? Thats right people -
FASHION TRUCKS. Talk about innovation, setting trends and being on the cusp of something great, it is an amazing thing to be apart of. This movement is rolling fast with a boatload of trucks hitting the streets around the USA and with great names such as:
Street Boutique, Alibu and LeFashion Truck.
According to fashion truck creator Lia Lee via NPR,
"It's like a mini-store — we have departments and everything," She offers jewelry, bags, scarves, sweaters and other clothing, and shoes up to size 10. With such a small space to work with, Lee changes her inventory regularly, but right now, skinny jeans are going for $35, a kimono sweater is $40, and stackable bracelets are $12 each.
What an amazing movement, check out the entire interview here.
