One on One with Anita Spaulding Part II

This blogger was simply speechless upon reading Anita Spaulding's account of how she overcame tremendous odds and I found her to be truly amazing. Tackling some of the most taboo subjects is just a small percentage of who this trendsetting woman of faith is and thankfully today we have more.

In part 2 of the exclusive interview, Anita shares her love for her supportive circle as well as where she feels her brand is destined to go. Check it out and see why she is a perfect fit for hurting women around the nation.

We live in stressful times and many have hit mental and spiritual brick walls.  What are some key things that one can do to maintain their zeal?
Here are a some tips to maintain your zeal, when you feel like giving up or in a slump.

·         Command your mind to line up with the word and speak life over yourself.  Proper rest, spa experiences, reading and conversing with positive people are key things to do.  When there is a mental/spiritual blockage that comes up, confront the chaos and change your way of thinking. You have to know that the you have already overcome any obstacle that comes your way.

·         Exhale to receive fresh ideas and inhale to continue to dream. When you dream big, big will come, live and let live.  Refuse to die or allow anyone or anything kill your dreams.  In order to maintain your zeal you can attend various conferences and seminars as well as surf the Internet. There are tons of outlets for innovative business ideas on how to expand and grow. You also must eliminate the carnal clutter and love yourself.

After reading some of your background, you can sense success coming your way.  Have you ever had moments when you almost had to pinch yourself?
There are moments when I just don’t believe how good God has been. I have gone from an introvert to an extrovert, loser to a winner, failure to successful and much more. I never would have made it without my role model, my Boaz husband Richard, as well as my mother Pastor Irene M. Campbell, who is a cancer survivor.  My son Evan is my femur and my savior Jesus Christ is number one and whom has never given in nor given up on me.

I almost did pinch someone else, not myself, after the book was published. I realized I am not just a writer but an author, a business owner and creator of a live remote Internet blog talk/live stream talk show. I host “A Godly Woman’s View with Co Pastor Anita C. Spaulding” which is garnering buzz as we reach the masses and the classes.

There are so many who have a view and often, no view at all, but we as Godly women have an opinion based on a solid foundation, which is the word of God. Being blessed to have answers that will provoke and inspire women from all walks of life is amazing. We have been born on purpose for a purpose and my aspiration is to give you H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Emotionally).

Success is in my DNA and it has been predestined for me to succeed.  The only thing that I see happening is that others are going to be motivated just by hearing me speak and watching what I accomplish. I look with anticipation of meeting my other role models such as: Dee Dee Freeman, Martha Stewart and Mrs.Serita Jakes just to name a few.

It is a known fact that women support each other like never before.  Share your thoughts on the importance of sisterhood/female empowerment.
Women should support each other without a doubt, especially in this day of depravity and economic crisis that is causing many to faint and get weary.   Scores of women have dealt with self esteem and trust issues. They’re annoyed, jealous, envious and apprehensive for some legitimate reasons but its important to know who you are. They must know what qualities they possess so they won’t be a liability or a casualty in these days and times.  Facts also conclude that the majority of females are very loving with hearts of pure gold and will give her last if put to the test.

I am a great encourager and I believe that you should inspire your sister girlfriends to rise up and go for her dreams.  It is very important to get to know a person before you prejudge them. I never assume anything and I watch and listen for her motive.

When you find out your sister is down, depressed and despondent, this is your queue to rally round her.  It is our job to help lift the heavy burden, by giving a word of support or even a hug will do. We must stop hating on one another simply because we have a mandate to stick together! “Together girls we stand"

The headlines speak of it intensely, what are your thoughts on those individuals who have been assaulted and how important is the recovery process?  Give as many tips/advice as you would like to.
The process of recovering from an assault or abuse can take a lifetime, it isn’t easy.  Every situation is diverse and being that I was violated by three sex offenders, it left me feeling unworthy to have friends or to live.  Your mind will play tricks on you and my advice is:

1.       Look for a friend or obtain professional assistance.
2.       Forgive yourself and the abuser. By forgiving the abuser it releases you from being victimized over and over again.
3.      Do not be afraid to be different; In my book, ‘’From Trials to Triumph” I share the following: Step   back, breath, take a good look at where you about to go, grab ahold of your destiny and forge ahead.
4.      Concentrate on the new you and do not let people, places or things distract you.
5.      Forget those things which are behind and push towards your desired goals. Block out the negativity and think positive.
6.      Be persistent and never give up because your latter will be greater than your past.

No matter what the difficulties are, you can make it you have inner strength. God is able to do abundantly, above all that they ask or think.  I know what God has put within me is going to come to past fast, because women are going to be needing my help.  With no vision there is division.

In the next five years where do you see God leading your ministry to?
In the next five years I will retire from my second career and do what I love which is ministering to people. God is leading A Godly Woman’s View to obtain property for a computer learning center with a job ready program included. It will also consist of transitional and assisted living housing as well as a wellness and fitness center. We will also offer financial and anger management seminars, youth and senior citizens programs and much more.

I see myself being interviewed on Trinity Broadcasting Network regarding A Godly Woman’s View and I also will be traveling across the United States encouraging people to take charge of their own destiny.  We have to encourage individuals to stop waiting for things to happen and make them happen.

Darian, everyone else has a view which normally consists of one thing or another but the Godly Woman also has a view and her opinion counts.   I want people to know that the godly woman has plenty to say about the issues of life and according to the Bible we are women of wisdom, understanding and patience.   I believe that A Godly Woman’s View will be on a national platform and sponsored by influential people.

Anita Spaulding has taken a tragic and mind numbing series of events and uniquely managed to create a place of peace and encouragement for many men and women. She not only does it with a presence that permeates joy and peace but she does it all with a trademark smile that melts even the most hardened heart. She is what is needed in the world today and LIRM is grateful to know this mover and shaker.
