Antyone Fisher ~ "Stands Strong Movie Scene"

My heartstrings have been pulled out of whack as I watched an intense movie entitled Antwone Fisher. This blogger can still remember sitting in the movie theater and watching this autobiographical tale of a once homeless dreamer.

Having been raised by a single mother and not having a father around, this story hit close to home in a few ways. Derek Luke's portrayal of Antwone was spot on as he allowed his emotions to shine forth and the characters strength to bubble to the surface.


I can remember meeting my fathers family at the impressive age of sixteen and as I watched Antwone search out his birth mother and connect with his mother, played impressively by Viola Dais, my own emotions can full circle.
