Dallas 2012 ~ Exclusive Trailer

I can remember it like it was yesterday as the iconic character of J.R. Ewing turned the corner of his plush office and took three bullets to the torso. It was the sound heard around the world as my grandparents awaited the fate of this nefarious oil tycoon.


At least 33 years ago the first episode of the cult phenomenon  Dallas hit the airways and the world was hooked on the shenanigans of the Ewing family. Weekly the world experienced the ups and downs of each character and the machinations of Sir J.R. played magnificently by Larry Hagman.

As all things eventually do, the franchise has come full circle with a new update on TNT that is due to hit the television screens in 2012. Some of the original characters have returned such as Larry Hagman, Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy.


The new show finds matriarch Miss Ellie dead and J.R. & Bobby's sons John Ross and Christopher continuing the beefing like only a Ewing can do.
