Dame Eartha Kitt ~ Vintage Interviews

I can still hear the world famous phrase coming from my flat screen and a smile instantly comes across my face. The phrase ," I have no panties on" came thru loud and clear mixed with a seductive tone from Iconic actress Dame Eartha Kitt.

Ms. Kitt held it down for decades with a combination of sultry, vampy sexuality along with a keen comedic edge that not many performers possess. Way before seeing her in the cult film Boomerang, Eartha blazed the screen with star making turns in classics such as Uncle Toms Cabin, Friday Foster and most reverently as Cat Woman in the classic Batman franchise.

She saw a resurgence of love for her sexy portrayal of lustful yet lovable cosmetics queen Lady Eloise in Boomerang and went on to guest star in various nighttime television programs. Sadly she lost her courageous battle to cancer in 2008 but thankfully she left a lasting legacy.
