The time has come and tonight is the night that we lose one of our team members, Nick Stokes, of the CSI crime lab. Wait, we aren't a part of the actual lab but hey we can dream can't we?
Anyhow!!
Tonight we see the return of one of those pesky twins, who's brother was taken out a few weeks ago, who likes to torture and kill people. The scene starts off with the evil twin experiencing an intense tattoo session along with him snapping or cutting off one of his fingers.
GIVE HER THE FINGER:
Julie arrives home to find a gift from her concerned mother or so she thinks. Once she unwraps the package, she finds a statue of twins and a lovely bottle which includes the crazy twin's severed finger.
Wait - Did we mention that he cut off his own finger??? ZOT DAMN!! Julie gets a phone call from the killer twin letting her know in so many words that things are about to get intense for her and not in a good way.
DB'S BEARD GAME IS ON FLEEK:
DB and Nick are seen speaking on Nick taking a job in San Diego which means - you guessed it - we are losing Nick to another part of the crime solving game. Sarah and Nick discuss the job opportunity and she convinces him that he should take the job. This would make a great spinoff of the series and our fingers are crossed that it does.
PREACH PASTOR LARSON:
Julie manages to get Daniel released and they go to see the nefarious pimp/preacher Pastor Larson, played to perfection by Eric Roberts. Julie thinks that Larson and the crazy twin are partners in the gross nefarious crimes to various women and are struggling to prove it.
DOUBLE TROUBLE:
The team scan the statue that the crazy twin sent to Julie and trace the blood on it to an apartment where there seem to be two female victims - twins but they find no bodies. Sara manages to deduce that the twin is doing it different this time around as he has managed to somewhat take on his dead brothers personality. Something about this particular crime scene is different to say the least. They stumble upon a tape recorded statement letting the team know this time around things won't be the same.
PAPPA DON'T PREACH:
The team meets with the evil twins eccentric father who lets the team members know that society may not approve of what he and his kids do/did but there was nothing to be arrested for. Daddy is just as crazy as his wayward murderous sons or is he? Nick and another team member from the San Diego branch search an abandoned house and find the two dead bodies in the guest house of the father. The bodies are of the two girls who gave Paul the tats earlier in the episode.
SHOTS FIRED:
As they are taking the father away, Julie gets a call from crazy twin Paul - Julie should use that block feature on her iPhone more - who lets her know in so many words that shit is about to get real. In a split second the father is killed as is Daniel shot and killed protecting Julie. Julie had to call Daniel's family and break the news to his family which was heartbreaking to say the least.
Morgan, being the impressive nerd she is, is able to get video off the murderous twins father and Rev. Larson arguing in his garden house and did this from sound waves off a plant. *BLANK STARE*.
Yeah ok Morgan!!!
Larson is brought into the station and begins to tell the story of the twins being the product of incest. Larson is then confirmed to be the REAL father of the crazy twins and lets D.B. know that crazy twin Paul is gunning for their mother to kill her for leaving them.
SAY A PRAYER FOR SISTER ALICE:
What we learned is that Sister Alice, the sweet Nun at the convent where the twins were born, is actually the mother of the twins. D.B. heads over to Julie's house to pick her up and finds blood on the door knob and a bloody crime scene in his mist.
Crazy twin Paul taunts D.B. with a notion that Julie suffered with tourture but D.B. figures out that crazy Paul is lying somewhat. D.B. then turns the taunt tables on Paul with information that his father is nothing but a dirty pimp. The cops jolt in and shoot crazy Paul but not before he lets them know that they will never be able to find Julie in time. They notice a parked car which was reported stolen and find a bruised and wounded Julie in the trunk. The next few days we find out that Julie is in a coma and is healing but may or may not wake back up.
GOD SPEED NICK:
Nick comes into D.B.'s office and lets him know that he is thinking of not taking the promotion in San Diego. We then see Nick walking the halls of the offices and saying heartfelt goodbyes to his friends like Sara and Ryan.
Fingers crossed that CSI returns Next Season!!!!
