"My Brother In a Box" HTGAWM "Best Christmas Ever" Episode Recap

Its time for Annalise Keating and her machinations tonight and we were turned up and tuned in.

This episode we see Sam's sister  Hannah searching for clues to his whereabouts and holding Annalise's feet to the ground concerning him and the cloud of suspicion around his departure. Annalise is seen via flashback in a fancy hotel in Philadelphia getting drunk and not in love and laying her wig to the side. The legal eagle was high off that wild turkey drank but manages to show up to the house with a straight and beat face. 

RETURN TO SENDER:

Wes and Rebecca are seen opening up the mysterious former tenant Rudy's mail  which piques Wes's interest.  The mail is from Rudy's grandmother and has a little money in it. Wes is later seen experiencing terrible nightmares and sweating like a murderous law student with an awkward love life. Something tells us that Wes is Rudy but he hasn't been able to figure it out due to some type of mind block caused by mental anguish. 

BASEMENT SPACE:

This week the team is dealing with a case involving a wife who is covering for her husband who had two girls locked in the basement. The wife is dressed like Sophia Petrillo with a slight twist of Olivia Pope.

She runs to Annalise who manages to get the two girls released and the evil husband is locked up. The wife is later found to be the one who drugged each victim for the wicked husband and she confesses that she like the victims is also a rape victim. Annalise is visibly shaken by that statement and something tells us that she too is a victim of rape and may have had a baby who just might be on the canvas today.

HANNAH IS ON A ROLL:

Sam's sister not only is challenging Annalise but she is following her every move and doing it at every turn. She follows Annalise to her boy toy Nate's house who promptly blows her back out and they do the cuddle buddy thing. Hannah is smooth like a cold winters night and seems to have some type of ally in Bonnie "Shadyboots" Winterbottom. 

LAUREL IS LOADED:

Laurel visits her family who is very rich and we ain't talking Nene Leakes. What ensues is a very bad experience with her mother and father and she is asked to leave and once she gets up from the table we see that was the plan all along. 

She then goes to Frank and complains about DNA in Connors truck and Frank put her in her place. 

XMAS SEASON:

Each character is seen via flashbacks enjoying Christmas with their perspective family members. 

Michaela is dumped by her gay fiancé hence the reason she couldn't find her ring on the night of the murder. 

Connor lets his family know he has a boyfriend.

Laurel insulted her family.

Asher hung out with Frank at the local bar.

They all come together on the porch where Laurel gave up her pocketbook to Frank and they bond in a very odd way. Wes lets them know that he feels like he may be going crazy - just like Rudy people. Connor has his regular meltdown but not before Hannah introduces herself to the group and sets them on edge.

NO PARKING ON THE DANCE FLOOR:

Connor leaves his boyfriends house and heads to his car but the car is ghost people!  The fancy Range Rover is missing and Connor freaks out like a washed up beauty queen looking for a job on a reality show. Frank manages to get rid of Connor's ride much to Connor's chagrin but he has to go with it because its just the thing to not include the team where the DNA is concerned. 

BASHER *Asher & Bonnie*:

Asher lets Bonnie have it in front of the other students and Bonnie quickly pulls him to the side and lets him know he needs to respect her. Asher clearly is hurt and lets Winterbottom know that he is not just a light sex buddy. 

FRANK AIN'T NO KILLAH BUT DON'T PUSH HIM:

Frank meets with Annalise and lets her know that Hannah is becoming a problem. It is further revealed that Annalise had Frank put a false spotting of Sam in New York out to the police  to keep Hannah off of their trail. Franks tells her to just give him the word and he will handle Hannah for her. 

SIMMER DOWN FRANK!!! 

DINNER IS SERVED:

Annalise calls over Hannah to talk and serves her baked chicken and Brussel sprouts. Hannah is so on to Annalise and her games and she lets her know that she wants the truth ASAP. Hannah grills Annalise about Nate, Lila and her continuous trail of lies but Annalise is a very wicked and crafty liar and gets her on her side. Annalise and Hannah have a unique way of grilling each other mentally and its gonna be a curious case of where is Sam Keating.

The Episode ends with human remains being found at the local dump and being confirmed as Sam Keating!!!!
