Phylicia Rashad Snags Coveted Role in CBS Pilot "For Justice" + Sheryl Underwood Featured In TVONE'S Unsung Hollywood Episode



Uber talented actress/producer Phylicia Rashad has snagged a super coveted role in the Ava DuVernay directed CBS pilot "For Justice". 


Via Variety:


Ms. Rashad  will play Georgina Howe, a gay black Washington player who has faced discrimination for her race and sexual orientation who also fights to protect the independence and integrity of her high-profile Civil Rights Division.

The project, based on James Patterson’s novel “The Thomas Berryman Number,” follows a female FBI agent working in the Criminal Section of the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division who finds herself caught between her radical real family and her professional family.
